Tips for mastering the shoulder freeze

  • There are 3 points of contact; shoulder, head and opposite hand
  • Keep your hips and shoulder in line to create your center of balance
  • Flex everything you can when at the peak of your freeze
  • Think of expanding your body vs. crunching in
  • Practice the 5 basic leg variations; bent legs, straight legs, straight legs apart, scissors on both legs
