Tips for mastering the Corkscrew:

  • There are 2 directions you can go with your Corkscrew, you can either travel towards your momentum or forward or reverse your momentum and travel backward
  • Whatever shoulder you turn over, that is the knee that will drop to the floor
  • Gradually travel down to the floor vs. spinning straight up and then trying to knee drop after
  • When you are about halfway down start to transfer the center of your body over the foot that will not be going to a knee

**Disclaimer**
These tutorials are meant to help spread the knowledge I have been fortunate enough to come across throughout my years of dancing. By no means is this the only way to teach or learn how to dance, but this might be one way that helps someone further understand the art of Breakin'.
