The 5 common Knee Drop mistakes and how to fix them:

Mistake #1: Dropping to your knee first

Fix: Make sure to drop to your toe that is hooked behind the leg that will be going down to a knee before touching your knee

Mistake #2: Squatting into your knee drop (dropping straight down into a knee drop)

Fix: Treat the knee drop as a forward lunge and allow your body to travel forward into your knee drop.

Mistake #3: Crunching in or leaning back when going down to your knee drop

Fix: Keep your back straight the whole time your travel towards the ground

Mistake #4: Trying to stay center while dropping to your knee

Fix: Allow your body to travel slightly in the direction of the foot that is hooked (e.g right leg is up and dropping to left knee, travel slightly to your right)

Mistake #5: Allowing your hooked foot to travel somewhere else vs. remaining glued to the back of your knee drop leg

Fix: Keep your foot hooked the entire time while traveling to the ground
