The 2 step sets the foundation for all of the basic fundamental Toprock movements.
Some tips for learning how the 2 Step:
- The Breakin' 2 step focuses on resetting or centering your body on the odd counts or the "bass" in the music and stepping out in a direction of your choice on the even counts or the "snares" in the music
- Make sure to dive into the water vs test the water. Put your weight into the direction you are stepping vs. keeping your weight on your back/center leg
- You can step out in any direction you want. Once you learn the combination practice stepping in different directions
